Hayley-Bo Dorrian-Bak is a senior research assistant for the Climate Change Litigation Initiative (C2LI). She holds a Masters in Global Environmental Law and Governance (University of Strathclyde) and a bachelor’s degree in Geography and Political Science (University of Western Ontario). Beyond collaborating with C2LI, she has worked with the Strathclyde Centre for Environmental Law and Governance on a written submission to the Scottish Government Parliamentary Petitions, encouraging strengthened legal protections of remaining Scottish ancient and semi-ancient woodland. This research has been published in a SCELG policy brief. Hayley has also worked with Professor Elisa Morgera as a researcher working on the collective rights of indigenous people to the environment. She is currently working on independent research on Arctic environmental law which she has submitted to the Global Affairs Review for their fall/winter 2021 volume.
